Dr. Rishab Chauhan is an Assistant Professor in the area of Communications at the Indian Institute of Management Amritsar. He completed his Ph.D. in Communication from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow.

Dr. Chauhan has published several research papers in reputed academic journals and presented his research at leading national and international conferences. As of August 2026, he has received five Best Paper Awards at prestigious conferences, including the Academy of Management (AOM), INDAM, and the IMRC Conference. He has also authored book chapters and serves as a reviewer for several reputed academic journals.

Beyond academia, Dr. Chauhan has worked on several freelancing projects with reputed brands, including Flipkart, Swiggy, Big Bazaar, Bikaji, and SG Analytics. He has also completed multiple online certifications in general management, earning gold and silver medals for his performance

Dr. Chauhan’s research and teaching interests lie at the intersection of business communication, organizational communication, and technology, with a particular focus on how artificial intelligence-driven communication shapes service recovery and customer relationships. His teaching also focuses on developing students’ soft skills, enhancing their communication and interpersonal abilities, and preparing them to communicate effectively and confidently in professional settings.
