One-Day Workshop for the Elected Representatives of Panchayat Samiti Members of the State Institute of Rural Development, Panchayati Raj

IIM Amritsar successfully concluded a one-day workshop for Elected Representatives of Panchayat Samiti, organised in collaboration with the State Institute of Rural Development (SIRD), Panchayati Raj, Mohali. 

The workshop focused on strengthening capabilities in rural development, governance, leadership, and management. Designed with a practice-oriented approach, the program addressed key grassroots challenges, including the effective implementation of government schemes, participatory decision-making, and community engagement. Through interactive, engaging sessions, the initiative aimed to enhance participants’ ability to lead development initiatives and to improve governance outcomes within their constituencies.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from Panchayat Samiti members representing various blocks, including Majitha, Verka, Jandiala Guru, and Harsha Chinna.
