Project Management for the Scientist of DRDO

IIM Amritsar organised a 6-Day Residential Training Program for the senior Scientists of DRDO.

About the Program: Project Management is important for organizations to align the activities of a project with their strategic goals. The project management essentially involves three stages i.e. planning, scheduling and control in order to enhance overall accountability of the project. The project- oriented approach has been chosen by many industries such as Manufacturing, Business Services, Research agencies, Finance and Insurance, Oil and gas, IT & Consulting Services, Construction Management and so on. Even the industries that have never been project-oriented before – such as healthcare or publishing – are suddenly finding that with project management, they can better reach their goals in a reasonable time with efficient utilization of resources. This Six-day program is designed to impart necessary understanding to the participants about managing large projects with complex and interdependent tasks in various industries. The course adopts the holistic approach and covers the multiple aspects such as technical, financial, and behavioral of project management.
