Program on Academic Leadership - Pathways to Achieve Academic Excellence for Shri Vishwakarma SkillUniversity, Gurgaon
IIM Amritsar recently concluded a one-week Faculty Development Program for a cohort of facultymembers from Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, Gurgaon, on the theme " Academic Leadership -Pathways to Achieve Academic Excellence" from June 07, 2023 to June 13, 2023, at IIM Amritsarcampus.
Under the aegis of Project T.H.R.I.V.E, which stands for creating Transformational, Humanistic,Responsible, Innovative, Value-led Educators, we curated this one-week Faculty developmentProgram exclusively for educators. This immersive FDP was designed to empower and elevatefaculty members to achieve new heights of teaching and learning. As educators, we understand theimportance of constantly enhancing our skills and staying abreast of the latest trends and bestpractices in education.
This FDP aimed to equip the faculty with the tools, strategies, and knowledge needed to deliverexceptional learning experiences and foster academic excellence among their students. The keyhighlights of the FDP on Academic Excellence include cutting edge Pedagogical Approaches,Enhancing Assessment and Feedback, Differentiated Instruction, Cultivating Global Perspectives,Professional Growth and Collaboration, and Leadership development.
This unique FDP included reflective classroom sessions for the participants and faculty shadowingopportunities through classroom observations. With this endeavor, we continue to empower thenext generation of leaders and innovators in higher education.
The program was designed, curated, and delivered successfully by the expert faculty group of IIMAmritsar. All the participants of the program highly appreciated the program.
It was a great opportunity for all of us to interact with IIM Amritsar faculty. All of us have learned many things and are taking memories along with us.
