About the Program

The two-year non-residential Executive MBA program (EMBA 2021-23) at IIM Amritsar focuses on a multidisciplinary view of the businesses. This program will be offered in a hybrid model, with two on-campus visits per year intertwined with the virtual classes in a distance learning mode. These classes will be delivered online via video conferencing with an interactive learning management system. The program will be offered over weekends with virtual classes on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The program will be for 750 hours and will have rigorous core and industry-relevant elective courses.

By working with the dynamic IIM Amritsar faculty and the diverse pool of professionals in your class, you will learn how to develop strategies for solving complex business problems, creating strong teams, and leading organizational change to sustain competitive advantage.

Core Courses: A wide array of courses focusing on building a strong foundational base for understanding and solving complex business problems

Elective Courses: A broad range of electives to give a chance to the participants to specialize and focus in their area of expertise

Integrated Field Project: The focused action-based project with some practical applications suggestive of improvements in the organizations

International Immersion: A 7-day module in a partner business school to understand the cross-cultural issues in managing businesses

Capstone Simulation: Integrated simulation exercise which will help the participants to understand the critical aspects of a business
