Curriculum vitae

Priyesh V Purayil is a faculty member in the area of Finance, Accounting and Control at Indian Institute of Management Amritsar. Prior to joining IIM-Amritsar, he was an Assistant Professor in Jindal Global Business School, Sonipat. Priyesh did his PhD in Accounting from Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK). The major focus of his dissertation was financial reporting quality among Indian companies.


He has presented his research in various national and international conferences of repute. His research papers are published in journal such as International Review of Finance and Managerial Finance. He is also the recipient of NSE-IGIDR Corporate governance research grant 2017-18 (USD, 2000). One of his research papers received the best paper award in 6th Pan-IIM world management conference held at IIM Bangalore.
